He also oversees strategic initiatives that accelerate innovation in the emirate and enhance its reputation on the world stage.
In his previous role as the Director of UAE Clusters at Mubadala Investment Company, Abdulla contributed to accelerating the UAE’s economic transformation by investing in national champions, fostering industrial and commercial clusters, and partnering with global entities. Before that, he led Mubadala’s Healthcare, Real Estate and Infrastructure portfolios, where he headed the establishment of Mubadala Health and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and the development of Al Maryah Island, home to Abu Dhabi’s international financial centre. Abdulla currently sits on the board of Mubadala Health.
Abdulla holds post-graduate and graduate degrees from Harvard University, Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania and Carnegie Mellon University.
