SVP of Finance & Support Services
James Payne is the Senior Vice President of Finance & Support Services (Commercial, Supply Chain, IT) at Strata. James has nearly 20 years of experience in a variety of international finance and supply chain leadership roles in manufacturing, transport and services industries, where he has led multiple functions and driven numerous business improvement initiatives.
Prior to joining Strata, he worked for Saint-Gobain in the United Arab Emirates from 2011until 2017, first as Finance and Supply Chain Director for Gyproc before becoming Regional Purchasing Director for Saint-Gobain Middle East in 2016, where he supported 18 plants in the region.
Before moving to the UAE, James worked for Saint-Gobain in Paris, France from 2006-2011, as Financial Controller and Head of Business Support for the Gyproc activity.
Earlier in his career, James worked for both Compass Group and British Airways as a Financial Controller in a variety of roles in both London and New York.
James graduated with a BSc (Hons) in International Business and Modern Languages from Aston University in the UK, 1999, and has been an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts (CIMA) for over 15 years, having completed his finals in 2002.
