Strata Wins the “Future Fit” Award in Advanced Aerospace Manufacturing
Strata Manufacturing has been winning the prestigious “Fit Future” award in advanced aviation and space industries by the UAE Government’s Office of Government Development and the Future. The recognition highlights Strata’s exceptional role in transforming the United Arab Emirates into a global center for advanced aerostructures manufacturing and a trusted partner in global aerospace supply chains.
With 1 in every 3 aircraft worldwide containing UAE-made components, Strata has produced and delivered over 100,000 aircraft structure parts to major global manufacturers, operating more than 30 production lines, over 90% of which are exclusive to Boeing, Airbus, and Pilatus. In 2024 alone, the company achieved 38% growth in global aircraft component output.
The award was presented during a visit by H.E. Ohood Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future, to Strata’s facility in Al Ain. Her Excellency commended Strata as a national model of advanced manufacturing readiness and a key contributor to the UAE’s global competitiveness in the aviation sector.
Al Roumi emphasized that Strata embodies the UAE’s future-driven vision, demonstrating world-class capabilities developed over more than 15 years in advanced and technology-enabled manufacturing.
Ismail Ali Abdulla, Managing Director of Strata, said: “Fit Future” award crowns years of strategic investment in people and technology. He affirmed that the recognition reflects Strata’s evolution into a globally competitive national champion that plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation manufacturing.
Acting CEO Sara Abdulla Al Memari highlighted that the award reinforces Strata’s position as a model for forward-looking national investments grounded in innovation, competitiveness, and long-term industrial strategy.
Empowering National Talent
Emirati talent accounts for 67% of Strata’s workforce, with Emirati women representing 87% of the national workforce—far surpassing global aviation industry averages. More than 700 Emiratis have been trained across 17 batches of the Aaerospace Structures Training Program, with continuous upskilling and international training opportunities.
