ATR 42/72 Vertical Fins (VF)
A vertical stabilizer is a primary structure in most cases mounted vertically to the aircrafts rear fuselage and its main function is to reduce aerodynamic side slip and provide direction stability. The Rudder is attached to the aircraft structure along with the horizontal tail plane, together forming the aircraft’s empennage.
