Strata experienced a significant growth over 40% Copy
Strata Manufacturing PJSC (“Strata”), wholly owned by the Mubadala Investment Company, a leader in advanced composite manufacturing in the UAE, reported over 40% increase in shipments to global aerospace and advanced industry sectors in 2023 compared to 2022. Strata dispatched 773 shipments, comprising 7,880 components, to major aerospace companies such as Boeing, Airbus, Leonardo, and Pilatus.
Since its inception in 2010, Strata has successfully delivered 5,902 shipments, encompassing a total of 83,236 components proudly labelled ‘Made with Pride in the UAE’ for renowned aviation companies worldwide. Strata’s 30 production lines have significantly contributed to the global aviation industry, evidenced by the fact that one out of every ten aircraft globally incorporate components manufactured by Strata in Al Ain.
Ismail Ali Abdulla, Managing Director of Strata, highlights the leadership’s commitment to establishing a globally recognized model for economic diversification. Mr Abdulla highlights Strata’s achievements, driven by Emirati talent, featuring a workforce that is 65% Emirati, including 87% female citizens. The workforce composition reflects Strata’s commitment to gender balance and the empowerment of women in the manufacturing sector.
Strata’s dedication to adhering to international quality standards at its Al Ain facility is evident in its diverse product range, including the manufacture of components for various aircraft models such as the A330, A350, B777, B787, ATR 42/72, PC-24, and PC-12, making significant contribution to global aviation supply chains.
