Strata Manufacturing (Strata), the advanced manufacturing company wholly-owned by Mubadala Investment Company PJSC , is starting the production of two new work packages for Pilatus PC-24 and PC-12 components, following the delivery the of the 100th shipset of PC-24 Belly Fairing.
The delivery achievement confirms the success of the PC-24 composite project established by Strata and Pilatus with the support of Tawazun Economic Council.
The agreement extends the Al Ain manufacturers’ remit to add the Cockpit and Trailing edge TE for the PC-24, and the PC-12 Cockpit. It will see Strata manufacture hot press parts for the first time in the UAE, and adds to its current Pilatus work packages, which include the PC-24 Belly Fairings, Flap Track Fairings, and Pylon Fairings, all bearing the Al Ain manufacturer’s ‘Made with Pride in the UAE’ seal of quality.

Having penned the two firms’ original framework agreement in 2018, which led to the introduction of a dedicated Pilatus PC-24 production line at Strata’s Al Ain facility, Ismail also oversaw an amendment to the agreement signed in March 2021, where Strata secured production responsibilities for Pylon Fairings, Bullet and Tail-Cone Fairings work packages.

In addition to Pilatus, Strata works with leading aircraft manufacturers, including Airbus, Boeing, Leonardo. Based at Nibras Al Ain Aerospace Park, Strata supports the development of a leading aerospace hub in Abu Dhabi as part of the emirate’s economic diversification initiatives.
